Speaking Voices
I thought it worthwhile to share a part of my journey of becoming, silently praying that it will be the “push” that someone needs to begin to walk...
The Beancake Story
I bent a little, leaning forward towards the kitchen sink. As I did this, I placed my left arm on the sink while my left palm was in the bowl...

When I think of myself, all I think of is a 10 -year- old girl wearing a pink dress with pink bold ribbons on her hair, on a swing, swinging away, high up in the air, with no cares whatsoever, enjoying every moment, knowing how precious they are. I like to think of myself as a girl, yes! a girl. Well, I may not look like one but am a girl, at heart.
I am a girl who loves to be herself. Going through life, I have tried different things in a bid to unleash the girl within. I can introduce myself as a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a teacher, a nurse, an entrepreneur, a writer, a story teller and a dancer (yes your right, a dancer though I haven’t done any dancing in a long while) and a lot of other things that I can add if I think hard enough but all these are titles. Status they are, deserving ones, but, only one status defines ME.
It took me time to get here but now that I am here, I am not going back. I am not going to spare words in describing the status that sits well with me. The status that draws out the inner strength in me. The status for which I was given life and an assignment to fulfill. I am the daughter of a King, a Princess! I am God’s princess.
In all my findings of myself, the status of a princess is what suits me best. I have therefore decided to help every girl and woman (who is a girl at heart) to discover the “Princess” in them. I have decided to tell stories, stories that will encourage us to live the lives we were created to live. Stories that would reveal to us, God’s love in every detail of our lives.
It is my innermost desire that through my stories, tales of God’s glorious workings in my life and through the Spirit inspired words that will be written through me, that you too, can begin to live your best life, living for Christ!
